Named after the famous Aussie Poet, Andrew Barton Paterson  who is better known as " Banjo " Patterson who captured the imagination of the country with such famous poems such as Waltzing Matilda among many others. A Solicitor, a farmer, a  journalist and a writer known and loved for many a decade as he penned the famous verse "There was movement at the station" He would have been proud of this hat made in his name by Akubra, Australia's oldest hat maker.

The Banjo Paterson from Akubra Heritage series is unique in every way! Made from the leather of one our Aussies greatest fish, the Barramundi, Its natural leather from this fish that makes it very unique! Each and every band is different. Some dark, some light, some a bit thicker than the other so each and every one is custom made and unique in every way!
